Went here about a month ago for a bite to eat at around about lunchtime. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was fantastic for a good price (would highly recommend the halloumi bagel). Really close to the station as well. When I next come to Shrewsbury, I'm definitely coming back

Recently enjoyed a delightful experience at Cafe 34 in Shrewsbury! Opted for the Plant-Based Platter, and it was a delightful medley of flavors. From the creamy guacamole and hummus to the perfectly toasted sourdough bread, every element was a treat. The addition of olives, coleslaw, chutney, and pickle added a diverse and satisfying touch to the platter. Paired this with a comforting Hot Chocolate, which was rich and velvety, providing the perfect warmth on a chilly day. The Carrot Cake was the perfect ending to the meal – moist, flavorful, and a delightful balance of sweetness. Cafe 34 impressed not only with its plant-based offerings but also with a cozy ambiance and attentive service. A must-visit for those looking for a delightful plant-based feast in Shrewsbury!

Lovely find, great coffee & amazing cake. Nice atmosphere, cosy inside & very welcoming. A real treat to find on the street. Staff were very chatty and made us feel welcome. Afterwards we take the steps back to walk along there river.

I was visiting Shrewsbury for the day and had previously eaten here, so better the devil you know I opted to return. I ordered the ploughman's with ham and brie. Lovely selection on the board with salad, bread, chutneys, pickled slaw, and creamy spicy coleslaw. My partner had the festive panini. This was served with the spicy creamy coleslaw and some mini chip crisps. We both had a latte to go with our lunch. The cafe had a lovely atmosphere, was busy and a little noisy. Toilet facilities were clean. I've knocked one star off for the service. We asked twice for a large and medium latte, even correcting the lady when she read back our order, and still received two medium lattes. I also had to ask twice for extra butter, as this was forgotten about when the food was served, but brought when I raised it again at the table check. All in all, it was a pleasant visit, and I would return.
